Project Manager (05/2009 – 04/2010)

• Secured contract for the development of an environmentally based new neighborhood park (Lucy Parson Park), and managed all phases of this project from site analysis, conceptual layout and design, to construction documentation and oversight.
• Effectively served as liaison between client and contractor.
• Provided oversight for initial phase of 2010 Group A Playgrounds project for the Chicago Park District; this project consisted of updating 4 existing playgrounds and 1 new playground to the Park District’s new standards.
• Supervised two Assistant Designers through the initial design and production of park project.
• Served as the lead coordinator for the Elmhurst Wastewater Facility Landscape project; and managed all phases of this project from site analysis, conceptual layout and design, to construction documentation and oversight.

•  Served as an integral part of a 20-person multi-disciplinary design team that successfully installed 35 landscape projects for parks and recreation, civic and public agencies, academic and cultural institutions, healthcare facilities, residential neighborhoods, and mixed use development.

•  Received LEED (Land, Environment, Economics, and Development) team awards for 10 projects in recognition of sustainably built projects.

•  Coordinated material manufacturer presentations for company designers and engineers.
